Established in 1969, Cole's Interiors is a family-owned and operated full-service interior design center featuring a unique combination of complementary in-home design service and everyday discount pricing on the best brand names in the industry.We are centrally located in the East Bay city of Concord, with easy freeway access and plenty of free parking. Our design staff is here to help guide you through the process of pulling it all together. Cole's was founded in 1969 by Howard & Dodie Cole, with 15 year old Jim Rease Cole working there after school from the get go. Originally opened as an art gallery, Jim was sent to apprentice as a custom framer. The store quickly evolved into the other categories as our customer base wanted us to pull it all together. Jim took over the business in 1989 when his mom and stepdad retired. Howard hired Jim's future wife in 1984, and their son Zack has been working here since he was 15 in 2005, continuing on as the 3rd generation.


It's been more than five years since we upgraded our 800 square foot family room.  We thought we could do it ourselves, but thank goodness a friend told us about Jim Cole at Cole's Interiors.  He handled everything: structural improvements, flooring, area rugs, paint colors, lighting, furniture, and art work.  We were absolutely thrilled with everything!  The compliments have been pouring in ever since.  Recently we added some additional furniture that blends with the original selections perfectly.  Every one of Jim's staff is efficient and courteous.  And, to our delight, we received our order faster than expected.  Great prices, too!

One of the high points of our remodel/move.  We started off with Costco's referral service for Hunter Douglas shades, but the representative was pretty bad.  I Google'd "Hunter Douglas" and up came Cole's, as a showroom.
We were greeted by the owner, Jim Cole, who was very helpful and set up an in-home appointment for measuring and samples.  We were expecting another representative, when Jim arrived at our home about a week later.  Jim helped with our selection and his prices were comparable to Costco's, even with Costco's sale!  Cole's even provided temporary shades until the new shades arrived.
The installation was equally painless; prompt and efficient.
Jim called today to follow up on our installation and I told him how pleased we were with our experience.

I would highly recommend Cole's Interiors.  The owner Jim Cole is fantastic and really knows what he is doing. He helped us w/ a big remodeling project with everything from carpeting to wooden window shutters, to furniture (floor samples and custom sofas, bar stools, coffee tables, accessories, etc). He even framed some artwork and helped us pick out the color for painting each of our rooms.  He also assisted w/ the artwork in my law firm, for very reasonable prices.  He is willing to spend as much time as it takes and multiple trips to your home or office.  Just can't say enough good things about Jim.  Try him, you'll be glad you did!
